We thank you, God, for renewing our faith, strengthening our hope, and kindling our love. Through the power of the living Christ, at work in us, grant that we shall walk in newness of life. Amen.

May the Peace of Christ be with you.
And also with you.

Closing Music
“Simple Gifts”
'Tis a gift to be simple,
'Tis a gift to be free,
'Tis a gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
It will be in the valley of love and delight.

When true simplicity is gained,
to bow and to bend, we will not be ashamed
To turn, turn, will be our delight,
'Til by turning, turning, we come round right.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof
Its streets, its slums, as well as stars above
Salvation is here where we laugh, where we cry
Where we seek and love, where we live and die

When the true liberty is found
By fear and by hate we will no more be bound
In love and in life we will find new birth
In peace and in freedom redeem the earth
