July 19th is an ice cream social at Dick Jorgensen's house to raise money for the mission trip to Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi! It will be from 2-5pm, and the address is 2957 Newark Street, NW (right near the church). In addition to eating lots of ice cream and playing shuffleboard, we will be raffling off baskets of goodies - we have a wine themed one, beach reading, garden-grown produce and an ice cream themed basket, with more to come! Raffle tickets can be bought in church, either at the Morning Service or at Vespers, or at Dick's house the day of. You don't need to be present to win - we will call you with the good news.
